ORIZON Privacy Policy
Jaemin_Han (the “Developer”) values your privacy when you use ORIZON_Noscroll (the “App”) and complies with applicable laws and Google Play policies. This Policy explains what information the App collects and how it is processed.
This Privacy Policy applies to the ORIZON_Noscroll app published on Google Play by Jaemin_Han.
1. Information We Collect
The App requires sign-up and sign-in to use the service and may collect and process the following information.
1) Information collected at sign-up and sign-in
The App supports the following sign-in methods.
(1) Email sign-in
- Email address and password (stored in encrypted form)
(2) Google account sign-in
- Email address, name, and profile photo provided through Google account authentication (if set on the Google account)
- Authentication tokens required for Google sign-in
The App does not access your Google account password. Sign-in is verified only through Google’s authentication process. Google’s Privacy Policy also applies to information processed through Google.
Account information is used only to keep you signed in, sync settings across devices (when provided), and identify the user. It is stored and managed securely through Google Firebase Authentication. Firebase is Google’s authentication infrastructure, and the Firebase Privacy Policy also applies.
2) Information processed through Accessibility Service
The App uses Android Accessibility Service to determine whether a short-form screen (for example, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, TikTok Lite, Facebook Reels, Facebook Lite, Snapchat, Reddit, X, and similar) is shown while you use other apps. Supported apps and features follow the in-app settings.
In this process, the App may temporarily analyze on-device the foreground app package name, on-screen UI structure and layout, and limited visible text/descriptions needed only to detect short-form surfaces. The App does not collect or store personally identifiable content such as messages, passwords, payment details, or contacts. Information processed via Accessibility is not sent to external servers and is processed in real time only on the device.
Accessibility permission is used only for short-form detection and blocking, and for closely related usage-management features (for example, blocking modes and optional daily usage-time limits). Before requesting the permission, the App presents an in-app disclosure of purpose and scope and obtains your consent.
3) App settings information
Values you configure—such as blocked apps, grace periods, blocking intensity (mode), and daily usage-time limits—are stored locally on the device and may be synced to the server when linked to your signed-in account.
4) Information collected when you contact support
- Inquiry type, title, content, and name/nickname you voluntarily provide
- If you are signed in, account identifiers needed to handle the request (for example, user ID or email)
Support content is used only to reply and operate support, not for advertising or marketing.
5) Payment and subscription information
Paid subscriptions such as ORIZON Pro are processed through Google Play Billing. Payment-method details (for example, card numbers) are handled by Google; the App does not collect or store them.
The App may process purchase-verification information provided by Google Play that is needed to confirm and sync subscription status (for example, product identifiers, expiration status, and purchase tokens). Such information may be stored on the server linked to your account.
Refunds, receipts, and other payment details are governed by Google Play policies.
6) Automatically collected information
The current version does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or crash-reporting tools.
※ If such tools are introduced later, this Policy will be updated and notice will be provided in advance.
(If optional developer/quality features are offered in the App, they operate only with user consent or an explicit send action, and do not upload the full raw Accessibility screen tree to servers. The exact scope follows in-app notices.)
2. How We Use Information
Collected and processed information is used only for the following purposes:
- Providing short-form content detection and blocking
- Applying your blocking rules, grace periods, usage-time limits, and other personalized settings
- Receiving and responding to support inquiries
- Confirming ORIZON Pro subscription status and providing subscription benefits
- Maintaining app stability and fixing bugs (limited to information you voluntarily provide when an issue occurs)
The App does not use collected information for advertising, marketing, or disclosure to third parties.
3. Retention and Third-Party Disclosure
- Account information (email, password, Google authentication data, etc.) is stored in Google Firebase Authentication for identification and sign-in and is managed with appropriate safeguards (including encryption).
- Purchase-verification information needed for subscription status may be stored on the server linked to your account; payment methods are handled by Google Play.
- Support inquiries are retained for the period needed to reply and operate support, then deleted.
- Screen-analysis information processed via Accessibility is not sent to servers and is processed only on the device in real time.
- Except where required by law, collected information is not provided to third parties.
- If you use Google sign-in, Google processes authentication-related information under its own Privacy Policy.
- To delete your account, contact us at the email below. After verification, we will delete account information without undue delay. Where law requires temporary retention (for example, records to prevent abuse), we retain only for that period and then delete.
- Uninstalling the App alone does not delete account data stored on Firebase servers. To delete account data, you must request withdrawal through the contact below.
4. Notice Regarding Accessibility Permission
In accordance with Google Play policy, we clearly disclose why Accessibility Service is used.
The App uses AccessibilityService to implement its core features: automatically detecting short-form screens and helping you leave them. It is used only to determine whether you entered a short-form surface and to help you step away based on your settings. It is not used for other purposes such as unauthorized personal-data collection, advertising, or disclosure to third parties.
Before requesting Accessibility permission, the App shows an in-app prominent disclosure of purpose and scope and lets you agree or decline. If you decline, you may still use some parts of the App, but features that require Accessibility (such as short-form blocking) will not work.
You may revoke the App’s Accessibility permission at any time in your device’s Settings → Accessibility. If you do, short-form blocking will stop working.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Change or reset blocking rules and personalized settings at any time in the App
- Revoke Accessibility permission at any time
- Request account withdrawal and deletion of account-related data via the email below
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information
- Contact us with questions about personal-information processing
6. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
This Policy may be updated due to changes in law, policy, or App features. When we change it, we will provide notice in the App or on this page.
